REUNION EVENTS

 

Reunion events for Initiated Men help men reconnect to each other

and to the messages and blessings of initiation. 

 

They are a time to learn from each other how we have carried out our men's work at home

and what we can do to further male spirituality work in our own settings.

 

Here's a map to the MROP Reunion for Initiated Men scheduled for Saturday, March 31st just outside San Antonio in the Garden Ridge area.  Please plan on joining us at 10:00 a.m for an encouraging continuation of our fellowship.

 

Our land is wooded and beautiful, and we plan to keep it that way. We only have to drive a few minutes to get here from San Antonio, but feel like we’ve left town. We worship God in a room with a fireplace and lots of glass so we can see the live oak and mountain laurel. We hope you can join us for the MROP reunion!

 

Covenant Baptist Church is located in the far northeast part of San Antonio. We are 3.5 miles outside of Loop 1604 on FM 2252. Nacogdoches Road becomes FM 2252 outside the loop. There is no way to masculinity.  Masculinity is the way.  So, name the wound.  Feel and weep over the wound.  That is strength, not weakness.  Seek the face of the Father.  Thai is action and journey, not passivity.  Own and take full responsibility for your life and behavior.  Don’t blame, sit in shame, or wait for warm feelings or miracles.  Act as if.  Do it. Go with it.  Risk it.
