We need your commitment to support the rites for the men who will be participating in the MROP March 16-20.

First, every IM can help by guiding a brother, son, father, nephew, grandson or friend in deciding to participate in the rites.

Next, we will need your support in practical logistical matters for the rites. Below is a list of some of the ways you can participate in preparing for the MROP.  Please send an email to Barry Duncan, MROP Coordinator, at and let him know how you will contribute.

Logistics Elder. We need an IM to coordinate the logistical support effort with Barry.  If logistics/event planning are your forte, we welcome your gift and talent!

Tents, Cots, Sleeping Bags, Air Mattresses.  Many of the men coming for the rites will be traveling by air and may not have some of the items needed for a camping experience.  We will coordinate with you later on how to get your loaned items to the ranch.

Setup Crew.  Since the MROP will be in a primitive setting, we will need some men to help with preparation of the site.  Some of the work will have to be done on Monday and Tuesday, March 14 and 15. 

"Sponsors."  We are working to keep the costs down for the rites and to support the participants in their experience of the MROP.  We will need Initiated Men in the Austin and San Antonio areas to help travelers get from the airport (Austin or San Antonio) to the ranch on March 16th --and back to the airport after the rites on Sunday, March 20th .  In a few cases, the participant may arrive on March 15, or depart on March 21 because of flight schedules.  If you are willing to host a man overnight, that would be a great service.

 Pickups, 4-Wheelers, ATVs.  You bought that "beast" for experiences like this one anyway, right?  Now's your chance to use it! Let us know you can help with setup and/or tear-down of the site.

Registration and "guides" at the MROP site.  March 16th, 11:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There is something for everyone...please let Barry know how you will help out.

Finally,  mark your calendar for the IM reunion on March 19-20.  You will be joining with other IM at the ranch on Saturday afternoon for an IM reunion and retreat.  That evening you will join with the MROP team for the Initiation Rites. You are invited to remain overnight and to join with the new IM for the final day of the MROP.  All Initiated Males are invited--and encouraged--to participate in the reunion.
